Builder Aintree Boats

Below is their base specifications and changes we made.

Specifications

Hull

• 10mm Base plate – 6mm Hull sides
• 5mm Cabin Sides – 4mm Roof
• Base Framing 50 x 50 x 6mm angle
• Hull side framing 50 x 50 x 6mm angle
• Fully framed shells
• Side and floor frames at 600mm, welded together for strength
• Roof framing with 25 x 25 x 3 box section at 420 centres
• Integral water tank – Stainless Steel tanks available at extra cost
• Gas locker fully vented
• Attachment for gas bottles
• Built in fuel tank, size dependant on hull shape 180 Litres (40 Gallon.
• Engine room fully ventilated
• Return pipes with take off for diesel central heating
• 1/4” Fuel Tank drain
• Skin tank fully baffled (to suit engine)
• Engine bed fully welded (to suit engine)
• Welded in battery tray and wiring rails

Sailaway (as Hull) Plus

• Fully fitted Beta Marine engine (engine size to suit boat) Beta Marine 43 with Beta’s ‘Delux C’ panel.
• 110AH Starter battery fitted
• 5 Windows (updated to double glaze windows in 2022) and 4 Portholes finished in either Chrome or Brass
• Adequate Mushroom vents
• 6 x Weld in type fender eyes
• 4 x 2.5 kg Anodes welded on
• Adequate ballast laid on a bitumen painted and felted base
• Treated plywood floor throughout
• Battoned and spray foamed cabin area to a minimum of 25mm
• Sold as fully waterproof boat

Sailaway Lined (as Sailaway Plus)

• Lined in light Oak – Ash & Maple available at extra cost
• Hull sides lined in 9 mm veneered ply, Bow and stern bulk heads lined in 12mm
• Cabin sides lined in solid wood framed panels with 9mm veneered ply boards
• Deck head lined in 6mm
• Bulk heads 18mm block board, 2 full, 1 half, as standard to your location
• 12 volt wiring tails dropped behind panelling in conduit to your location
• All 12 volt wiring is colour coded and is terminated in the lighting track ready for main feeds to be installed
• 240 volt ring main wiring fitted
• Sockets and switches to your location tails only

Fully Fitted (Sailaway Lined Plus)

• Choice of reverse or traditional layouts
• 12 volt LED lighting is used throughout the boat
• 240 sockets and swathes to your location
• Victron 3kw miltiplus inverter/120A battery charger combi
• 4 x 135ah replaced in 2022 with 4 X 145ah domestic batteries
